- Complete installation on a single computer. Access to the data only from this computer

- Server or client in a client/server arrangement
- Multiple users or computers work with imc SEARCH
- SEARCH Server and underlying DBMS (SQL ...), as well as file server, supported on both single or distributed computers
- Communication between client/server
- Fast within the company LAN (.NET Remoting)
- Secure with SSL/HTTPS over the internet and across firewall boundaries
